We are searching for a strategic and dynamic Account Director to manage key client relationships and oversee complex, integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Vice-President, this role is critical in guiding clients’ strategic direction and aligning it with measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and client service skills, as well as a deep understanding of digital marketing.

- Thought Leadership:
- Develop and communicate insight-driven strategies that meet client objectives and drive their brand vision.
- Serve as a digital-first thought leader, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and advising clients on best practices.
- Foster an understanding of our agency's vision, values, and goals among team members and clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, nurturing relationships, and aligning campaigns with clients' business needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth within accounts by understanding client needs and proposing creative solutions.
- Present digital, social, and creative work to clients, securing buy-in and managing feedback.
- Project and Budget Management:
- Create and oversee project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Manage campaign costs, reconcile budgets, and prepare invoices accurately.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire account teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.
- Mentor team members, building their skills and guiding them to align with agency goals.
- Conduct regular team reviews and provide constructive feedback to support individual and team development.
- Assist with development and execution of new business pitches, along with other agency staff, to secure new business.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in an agency setting, with a strong focus on digital and performance campaigns.
- Proven experience managing multiple accounts, with a strong understanding of how to achieve client satisfaction and drive organic growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and report on metrics that demonstrate campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in budget planning, development, and financial reconciliations.
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent experience.
