As an Account Supervisor, reporting to one of our Account Directors, you will support the development and execution of strategic marketing partnerships that drive both revenue and innovative partnerships for the company and the clients we work with. In this role, you will contribute to delivering best-in-class marketing and event programs for new and existing clients.

Successful candidates will come equipped with:
  • A passion for event management, and a keen interest in automotive, retail and luxury goods;
  • Proven expertise, skillfulness and agility in experiential programs, yet eager to roll-up your sleeves and be hands-on, learn, and grow within the company;
  • Plans for contingencies and has a back-up plan for a back-up plan; and,
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, is a demonstrated self-starter, and is able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Key responsibilities:
  • Client relationship manager: understand the client’s marketing objectives, and work with the internal/cross-functional teams to develop programming that meets those objectives.
  • Present campaign ideas and budgets to clients alongside agency colleagues.
  • Responsible for managing various experiential programs, either as the primary lead or support role to the experiential (XM) Team, as required.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to both clients, partners, sponsors and/or suppliers, while creating world-class experiential, PR and social influence driven programs.
  • Maintain a current and broad knowledge of the client’s business, competition and industry/category best practices in order to contribute to strategic event planning and implementation.
  • Act as a primary advocate for the client’s brand, ensuring brand consistency across all events, platforms and communications.
  • Constantly exploring new ideas to drive maximum value for clients and amplify both reach and return on investment.
  • Present creative work to clients for approval or modifications; adept at handling feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Confident negotiator with a proven ability to negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, venues, and the like.
  • Networking and connections aptitude, to cultivate a valuable network of event industry experts and allies.
  • Develop internal briefing documents, timelines, and work-back schedules for all events.
  • Write client reports, monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, and undertake administrative tasks to support campaign execution.
  • On-site event support, either as primary lead or support to team, as required.
  • Manage a wide range of operational and administrative competing priorities, to ensure the internal/external team meets all of its deadlines, and manages projects within prescribed budgets.
  • Assist members of the XM Team, as required.
What we are looking for:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business or Communications (or similar) is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of event management, agency, or relevant industry experience.
  • Proven prior work experience managing multiple clients/events at once, with various goals, across different industries.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and conversational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and the ability to work on both Apple products and event management software/technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in budget planning, budget development, budget management, and financial reconciliations.
  • Aptitude for research, discovery and exploration into and around a client’s/brand’s business, to provide insights and observations.
  • Bonus points if you are bilingual and are fluent in French or Mandarin.
