Dave Collie has always been obsessed with one question: “Why?” What started as an endless stream of questions that tested his parents’ patience has since evolved into a superpower—one that fuels his passion for strategic marketing and unlocks powerful, insight-led solutions for the brands he works with.

A graduate in Advertising and Communications Media, Dave has spent the past 18 years immersed in the world of marketing. He’s a thinker, a builder, and a storyteller—able to translate deep consumer insight into award-winning, results-driven campaigns rooted in human behaviour. Whether it’s brand strategy, CRM, ABM, demand generation, or digital transformation, Dave brings a unique mix of curiosity, creativity, and commercial focus to every brief.

Before joining 7 Communications, Dave was at Armstrong Partnership, where he led a cross-functional team of strategists and digital experts on national and global campaigns for clients like Mastercard, Merck, and RBC Insurance. His work bridges the gap between strategy and execution—turning big ideas into scalable, ROI-positive solutions that move the needle.

When he’s not deep in the strategy weeds, Dave’s at home with his wife and two dogs—either relaxing, making noise in the basement on his guitar or keyboard, or driving them all crazy with his latest golf-swing analysis. A diehard sports fan, he’s got a soft spot for Formula 1, a long-suffering loyalty to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a golf obsession that borders on clinical.
